Torgerson Properties takes a rather unconventional approach to new property development. Rather than following the up and downs of the real estate cycles, TPI grows our portfolio in a rather steady fashion of one or two properties annually. With the belief that solid projects should perform in all market conditions, TPI insulates our growth strategy from cyclical changes.

Development philosophy and roots
Through the years, TPI has clung to its philosophy of growing in a rather tight geographic area of southern Minnesota. With TPI’s roots deeply embedded in Minnesota, we can stay abreast of market challenges and opportunities effortlessly. Our corporate team can service their locations efficiently and focus energies towards leading property performance. TPI does have one location in Naples, FL and at times we have considered growing outside of MN. Although it is not a top priority, we certainly will expand our geographic area at an opportune time in the future.
